I had never really realized just how living vegetables really are until I spent four hours in front of a computer watching produce training videos. Thanks, Hannaford Supermarket. I found a hardcover copy of Gibson’s Spook Country for half the price of the paperback. It took an enormous amount of willpower not to purchase it. I want to read it at some point this summer, but I can say the same about hundreds of other books. Still, Gibson is definitely near the top of the list.
Also, I got a rejection email back from one of my short stories. The editor was kind enough to offer me some feedback, so it turned out to be productive.
In more imporant new, The Gulf is still full of oil. This is terrible.
