I feel naked without my cellphone. Not in the exposed sense, but disconnected from the world. Perhaps the correct term would be cyber-agoraphobia? I’m not one to text. However, having it there provides a degree of comfort to always know that being connected is only a few buttons away.
I just finished reading Caves of Steel by Isaac Asimov. It’s a mystery set in a not too distant future, consisting of a C/Fe society. C for carbon, representing humans and Fe in regards to iron, representing robots. Not to give anything away, but it’s actually split into two separate societies. There isn’t necessarily any integration, though. It raises some questions about humanity on an alarming level.

Next on my reading list is a book my cousin lent me. It’s called Bestial, and it’s a werewolf apocalypse story. I’m not expecting much on the literary level, but it might be a fun read.
Have video games become a discipline?
